What’s the Dual Sense Adaptive Trigger?
- the dual sense adaptive triggers are meant to “mimic” the feeling of the game. As an example, if you have a gun running low on ammo the dual sense 5 controller will be hard to move as it’s “jamming”.

This makes more tactile but if you want more linear feel turn it off

Thank you lol, I just got my PS5 and thought the game would have it on by default and was disappointed when I didn’t feel it and couldn’t find it thinking it was in the controller layout section lol, they’re pretty cool so far but I feel they could’ve done better with it tbh lol

The “bump” was meant to be where the actual resistance starts. For example, if you have the start position at the lowest you’ll feel the resistance as soon as you press your R2. If you have the start position max you’ll have the resistance when you almost fully clicked the R2 down.

fortnite devs ruined the adaptive triggers. when it was first implemented, ur aiming was realistic, it the left trigger/aim had resistance and it differed with guns. now it was removed. when u aim theres is no more resistance now. only when ur firing it's a very light resistance. it's garbage now. it's like it's not even there. i even raised the starting point to 4. did nothing. the level of strenth is already 8. they need to patch this crap. the guns have different resistance and the adaptive triggers have to fight back/give resistance when u aim the damn gun! and the firing of the gun should have a lot of force. i'm glad cod got it right on cold war. thats how the adaptive triggers were when they first implemented them on the release of the ps5, but they later changed it to this weak rumble effect and now more resistance to aiming.
