Part 1 of The Battle of Dol Guldur, adapted from Peter Jackson's 'The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies', is finally here in LEGO!
After discovering that the Nine have escaped the High Fells, Gandalf the Grey has entered Dol Guldur to seek out the source of evil and decay in Mirkwood. He discovers Thrain, son of Thror, who was captured by orcs at the Battle of Azanulbizar and had his Dwarven ring cut from him. Gandalf discovers that Dol Goldur's master, The Necromancer, is really Sauron - who defeats and captures Gandalf.
Now, an imprisoned Gandalf the Grey must rely on the promise made by Lady Galadriel to escape the torture and torment of the orcs of Dol Guldur, especially since he holds the Elven Ring of Fire.
Meanwhile, the White Council must commit to driving Sauron from Dol Guldur.
Based on Peter Jackson's 'The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies' Extended Edition, which draws on information from J.R.R Tolkien's The Return of the King appendices.
