intro - c418 (harry potter recap animatic)

hello! i thought i'd put together another hp animatic. this one is pretty similar to the my way one. hope u enjoyed! tbh i think intro is one of my favorite c418 pieces and while i was listening to it i thought the build up would be perfect for a harry potter centered animatic.

u can kinda tell who my favorite characters are lol. for some reason percy weasley has always been a fav even tho he's an absolute asshole. i can just appreciate the literal only redemption arc in the entire book series.

i hjksjflkd this was absolutely amazing holy shit. and what really got me where the last two frames where harry's truly happy b/c he's with his friends and even tho he still has to be the boy-who-lived *he's with his friends* and u really captured his content-ness with the way he's smiling & carefree & just getting the chance to be a kid and i think that's beautiful! & the way it fades to "all is well"??? im now officially an emotional mess ;)

Oh my God. Oh my God. Oh my God. This is absolutely stunning. Gorgeous. Amazing. Spectacular. Special. Beautiful. Stupendous. Brilliant.
The art style is so pleasing, its simple so your eyes don't take I too much detail, but there still just enough detail. The way you draw each and every character wows me so much, like Siriusly, each character, Ron, Hermione, Harry, Lily, James, Sirius, Remus, Draco, the other weasleys, absolutely everything hit me oh my god.
Your facial expressions tell so, so, so much. They're simple, yet say so much. They perfectly illustrate what each character feels. In the Forbidden Forest scene when Harry looks at his parents, then at the ground, oh my god that killed me inside the was beautiful.
Your movements are so well-placed, and have perfect timing. It gave each scene more depth, in a way. Both artistically and emotionally.
Your improvement is astronomical. I've watched several of your other videos, and I was surprised when I realized I wasn't subscribed. I am now, though

Favorite moments that hit me in feels:

Harry's absolute pure amazement at his letter is so innocent and sweet. Hermione and Ron sharing that same expression of sympathy for Harry, and pity for themselves. They'll be taking care of this sweet little child, Mr. Potter for the next 7 years. The mirror of Erised. Harry's eyes glimmering. Voldemort taking away everything Harry could've had.

By the way, the way you draw Ron is beautifully done. I love the way you can show theyre still teens and not adults and not kids. Just perfect amount of kid and adult for each year. Wonderful.
