I'm pretty sure the reason Doc Ock looks the way he does is to make it look more like how he did in SM2, as there he has shorter hair and his jacket is much more on the grey side. I'd say they did a pretty good job on that front.

I'm hoping maybe we'll get another set in the future with a fig that looks more like the Doc from NWH. Hopefully a bridge battle that also has a SM1 Goblin.

There’s a really solid custom Lizard minifig out there that uses the demogorgon legs. It’s pad printed and honestly pretty decent quality. I got it for my display and it looks great

I like how the only fix you did to the spiderman figures was just adding a different peter parker face print, most people add the homecoming suit legs to them, but that's just not accurate, since neither tobey, nor andrew have black webbing, nor do they have black lines

For better arms on Ned, you could use Rex Dangervest from the Lego Movie two as it is yellow, with arm printing of dark blue cuffs at the end.
