The fact that Skips named himself, well, "Skips" and also skips constantly instead of walking out of homage to his lost love is both endearing and heartbreaking.

few key things to note: Skips's real name was WALKS, but changed to skips in honor of Mona. And Mona didn't die during their *wedding* (not sure where that came into play), it was during a school dance. Skips's cousin isn't a clown, he's a comedian. His name is Quips. Muscle man's dad wasn't a truck driver or 'box protector', he was a forklift operator.

This show came out at the perfect time, my friend and I were both in our early twenties and related to Mordecai and Rigby in many ways. The awesome references to the 80s and 90s also struck a cord with us and Regular Show will forever be one of our favorite shows of all time.

I have a theory about why the characters Look like they look: Mordecai is most likely portayed as a bluejay because of his issues with relationships and low self- esteem (now I am not an ornithologist, but it could have something to do with the mating season). Rugby is a raccoon because of his sloth and gluttony, which can be portrayed as a raccoon going through the garbage. Eileen and Margaret are both physically and mentally the polar opposites and those two needed polar opposites. Pops has a head like a lolly because lollies are as sweet as him. Skips is a yeti because Yetis symbolize age. Muscle Man and Starla look like zombies because of toxic masculinity and femmininity. High five ghost symbolizes somebody that Wants to be the centre of attention, hence why he has a giant hi five on his head, but he is too shy which is symbolized by his ghastly Form. And finally Benson is a chewing gum machine because his anger burns inside of him like in a child- chewing gum symbolizes his childish nature and becomes sticky when it burns
