The World According To Briggs recently made a "Top 10 Most Racist States" Youtube list. Here is our version with some adjustments. There is NO way NORTH CAROLINA is worst than SOUTH CAROLINA for example.

I've lived in six of the states you described, have traveled to most of the others also, and think you are spot-on. You explained your opinions very well, did not exaggerate, and backed up your comments with actual experiences. I didn't read the rest of the comments here but I will, and I'm going to hunt down the other Top Ten list someone else posted. Nice job, Jose.

I am so glad you put this out. Unfortuately Briggs too often has a habit of saying there are a lot of good people in these states, and I want to respond there are a lot of good people in all states. He frequently identifies the worst crime areas as political instead of the impact of racism, since most of these areas are predominately black or minority cities. Bravo!

That’s why I’m so hesitant to move down South. The cost of living is so cheap and that’s what attracts me, but as an AA, and the history of the South, I just can’t do it.

The US is very exhausting. I want to move near a warm climate. I dont want to live in danger because of my skin color. Its a lot to think about. I live in Omaha Ne and it is very racist but I dont feel unsafe physically. It is just mentally pressing and racist things have happened.

I've been living in South Carolina since 2016... I totally agree on his review. Although there are some decent people here, the majority have an attitude, especially towards those who aren't from the area. I'll be moving from here come next Spring.

I purposely fill my tank at the end of North Carolina just so I dont have to stop in South Carolina driving down to Florida from Jersey. Stop at end of Georgia back up. I feel strange when I have to stop in South Carolina which I have done a few times, my instincts say something is wrong.

The 2nd Klan era (1915-1944) began in Atlanta. The 3rd Klan era (1946-present) began in Atlanta. Despite the above facts, there were narratives that the most racially enlightened of Southern locales during the 20th century was Atlanta.

So interesting your take on South Carolina…I found the people in very kind and helpful.

Which area did you find unbearable and what did that look like? 12:01

Thanks for your most honest Perspective. A few YouTubers DONT touch the truth but merely dance around it. I feel that you are helping a lot of ppl by putting the truth out there. Born and raised in Alabama.. I have not experienced racism but prejudice ways from ppl that were subtle.. kinda like they do it just enough to show you but don’t come out and say it. For example your supervisor on the job, the doctors office, that waiter, etc etc.. and I had some great experiences in Alabama as well but overall, Alabama has come a long way but still needs improvement ‼️I left and I’m here in DC. But it is better in North Alabama than South Alabama and West Alabama.. I couldn’t stand the egg shells blacks walked on and tiptoed around how a job treated them. I couldn’t stand the passive aggressive Caucasians in Supervisor roles or even just working in the rural area communities was a drag. I’m a healthcare worker and I have seen and heard it all. Thank you tho.. great video great job

Great 👍 review and information ! I live in Canada 🇨🇦 and I found your video a eye opener. I find here in Canada the bigger cities are more diverse and the smaller towns are not as diverse .

I live in California and it is ranked as the 2nd most diverse state in the country behind Hawaii. Yeah, there is crime in the inner cities but I don’t feel there is much racism in the state overall unless you go to places like Fresno or Bakersfield or the far north near the border with Oregon. The most racist state in the west is Utah.

I'd say one part on the west coast the person creating this video may've overlooked as racist, is anywhere in the 'Jefferson' border area of California and Oregon. By Jefferson, I am talking abiut the occasional past suggested idea for far northern California and far southern Oregon counties to break off of CA and OR, and create their own state.

I've also heard stories about parts of Idaho being pretty racist, as well. Such as northern Idaho, and other parts. I wouldn't be surprised if parts of rural Wyoming and Montana still had racist issues, as well.

Like the person creating this video said, it's hard to exactly 100% measure how much racism occurs in each state.

Thank you for mentioning Ohio. The racism there is so deep seeded and a part of everyday life, its disgusting. Western PA has some really awful places too.

I go to the VA in Charleston SC, to their dialysis unit. A nurse name Alex to me that he is using my blood to put a curse on me. And first the hospital didn't do anything. Then about two weeks ago they sent him to anger management class for one day and that was only after I wrote what happened in their servay. And so far to this day nothing else has happened. Not only was it him. I was surrounded by a total of 4 nurses and 1 crooked cop while I was strapped into the dialysis machine with two giant 15 or 16 gage needles sticking out of my arm. Arguing with them and listening to the nurses lying to the crooked cop who told me that saying that he is using my blood to put a curse on me is not illegal. Alex also said that I front of another nurse name Bernice. Bernice was one of the four nurses there lying to the police. The head of the nurses, the one that you supposed to go to when you have a problem, her name is Vicky. She was another one of the four that was there. Another one is the woman in charge of the transplant list. She was there also lying to the police. Her name is Amy. She was present when I was confronting Alex about what he said. Instead of reporting the incident to the police or some other official, she got me kicked off of the transplant list and made me go see a psychiatrist. The hospital is fine with this behavior because they know all about it. And refuse to do anything about it other than that anger management class for one day. I even reported it to the patients advocate. They are a joke. One of the ladies blamed me for the problems I was having with the nurses. All of the white people in that unite is Trump's supporters. And they usually harass me when Trump calls for violence. The main thing I find so messed up about all of this is that the hospital is named after an African American Marine that gave his life to save his fellow Marines. The name of the VA hospital is Ralph H. Johnson. It is highly racist. One time when I was working there I slipped and fell. I was told to go to the emergency room. This happened on the day we were having to evacuate due to a hurricane. This was in 2019 or 2018. I was living in a shelter and the shelter was evacuating everyone so, I had to evacuate and couldn't go to the emergency room at that time. So I chose to evacuate because I had already made plans and that would have been ruined. So I went to the emergency room that following Monday because all of this happened on a Friday. When I went to get an X-ray a doctor name Cox gave me such a hard time. He argued with me for about 2 or 3 hours trying to not give me the x-ray. He made up so many excuses to not give it to me. After about 2 a half hour he found a reason to call the cops and never took the x-rays. Totally I've had the police called on me around 5 times in the VA. If you are black and you can get help from somewhere else. Go there first.

I will admit every time I've gone to South Carolina the people have been straight assholes towards me, even compared to places like New Jersey I found people were nicer towards me compared to South Carolina, AND I'M WHITE TOO
