Monty Williams lost his wife Last year in a car wreck so I feel bad for him and yet he's still involved in the game and he's trying to deal with his loss he's going through a tough time and I respect him for a being a real strong man in Still pushing on with his life despite his tragic loss I wish him a great rest of his life.

Shoutout to Monty Williams. It's great to see him on the court, but we're thinking about him and his children/extended family continually.

Monty Williams looks like the old guy at the park that won't take a shot but wants to guard the best play game.

SCOUTING REPORT FROM THIS VIDEO
Melo: The ultimate technician; impeccable footwork and form on his jumpshot. His form is consistent from different planes, angles, release points, difficulties, it seems the defense cannot put him in a compromised position to take a bad shot - even his bad shots have good form which make the shots very makeable baskets. Lightning quick trigger and always ready to shoot, as a defender you can't let up for even a second of its "hand down, man down."
*PG-13*: The smooth operator; very fluid in his movements, coupled with quick-twitch and supreme length he almost lulls his defender to sleep, he makes tough shots look easy. Very deceptive in his elite abilities, he is a better athlete, finisher, shooter, ball handler than his unassuming posture and demeanor will lead you to believe.
*Kevin Durant* : The deadly assassin; not the best form or footwork but he is a pure scorer always out for blood. His length makes every shot he takes unblockable, so he operates with supreme ease and confidence. He's a threat to score easily from every level of attack (inside, midrange and outside) which keeps the defense always working and eventually wears the defense out.
*Draymond Green* : A dancing bull; He lacks grace and has poor form and footwork, but he is a beast with enough quickness and savvy to get the job done. He has more balance, quickness and skill than someone of his girth and strength should have making him a difficult guard. He can score proficiently from every level but not expertly from any. Not many can match him in strength x quickness factor ... except LeBron.
*Demar Derozan* : The freak athlete; explosive in every movement he makes. He's a gazelle in the Serengeti. His athleticism and coordination make him a tough player to guard because even though his defender might play textbook defense on him, he's acrobatic enough to turn a compromising situation into a positive play. He gets supreme elevation on his fade away jumpshot, however he lacks the skill to turn it into an unstoppable deathly weapon.

Melo's shot is the purest, it just goes thru the net differently

If you think Demar cant shoot based off a little video then clearly you don't watch basketball. The guy is one of the best mid range shooters in the NBA

Draymond whining for fouls in a 1 on 1 drill lol

If I had to make a scouting report I would say Melo can and does get any shot that he wants, no matter the position you put him in due to his versatility, size, power, footwork and then his jump shot is pure as ever

Deroazan and Green throwing bricks after bricks. At least they will have a construction job waiting for them after they retire.

This looks more like a workout for Coach Monty than the players honestly

Draymond earned his right to be on the team this year sure. But even with how good he played this season you can see the OBVIOUS separation in skill when you put him beside the likes of these guys (Melo, KD, PG). I appreciate the player Draymond is but please stop calling this man a top 10 player in the league. If he had to be the star player on his own team it would be disastrous.

Monty hooping in the Mike Vicks haha he's a real one for this though. This is why so many players really like him

So tragic what happened to Monty's wife. His response during his eulogy was incredible. He is a true man of God. Also, he would be a great coach to play for. I love how he goes at it with the players! Respect!

KD and Melo are another class of scorer- their moves and footwork are so much smoother.

Do people really get on here to just rip on people? 😂
Every single player on this olympics team deserves to be there. Every one. Because at the end of the day these guys either put the ball in the basket extremely well (KD, PG, Melo, Kyrie, klay) or bring great defense and facilitating to the table (draymond, derozan, deandre, Lowry) At a higher level than most of the league. These guys are better than the rest. And the "rest" are still miles ahead of most of us, the observer.
