🌸This video is suitable for beginners or those who have not previously engaged in embroidery. Therefore, you will need a little more patience. The video will provide a very detailed introduction and explanation of each stitch-making process from start to finish, ensuring that you encounter no obstacles in your embroidery learning journey.
🌿Before starting the embroidery, please take a few minutes to carefully read the instructions. This will be helpful for your production process. We suggest watching the video tutorial before starting your embroidery. Rather than rushing into production, it's better to have an overall understanding of the process first. Before embroidering, we need to prepare the following:
❤️1. Install the embroidery frame
Remember to tighten the screws when installing the embroidery frame. When tightening the screws, use your left hand to hold the nut and your right hand to tighten the screw. After installation, press the fabric with your fingers to check if it sinks. If it doesn't sink, the embroidery frame is properly installed.
💚2. Organize the embroidery threads:
Each color needs to be organized first. You can wind it around a thread winder, paperboard, or small wooden stick. Alternatively, you can manually make a thread winder. Write the corresponding color number on each color, such as: 934 #8. This notation will help you quickly find it during embroidery. The more thorough our preparations, the smoother our work will proceed. Trust me!
💛3. About the length of the embroidery thread:
Before learning about the number of strands, we need to cut a suitable length. This length is approximately (40 inches) 1 meter. It doesn't need to be precise; a little longer or shorter is fine.
💙4. Learn about the number of strands:
We need to follow the instructions to determine the number of strands. There are 6 strands of embroidery thread in one thread. When separating the strands, take out one strand at a time. Do not pull out two strands at the same time, as this may cause confusion or knots, rendering the thread unusable and resulting in waste or insufficient thread for use! Therefore, we only take out one strand each time. If you need 2 strands of embroidery thread, pull twice. If you need 5 strands, pull once, leaving 5 strands. If it's 6 strands, there's no need to pull out; you can use it directly.
💜5. Learn to use the threading tool (not necessary) and threading
This skill is essential for embroidery and is also useful for sewing clothes in the future. Before threading, the thread end must be trimmed to approximately 1cm to ensure that the thread end is clean and free of other fuzziness. This allows it to pass through the needle hole quickly. If you are a complete beginner with no sewing experience, you can use a threading tool. Once you have mastered this skill, you can easily thread the needle without the need for a threading tool.
❤️6. Learn to follow the instructions on the manual
Please follow the instructions on the manual to select colors and the number of strands. This will ensure that the finished product closely resembles the original. The back of the manual contains a breakdown of each stitch. For example, Fishbone stitch (representing the use of the fishbone embroidery technique) 3 strands color #7 (abbreviated as the number of strands + color number). Understanding this means: using the fishbone embroidery technique, 3 strands of embroidery thread, and color number 7, and so on...
