Six years later, can confirm that this is still (one of, if not) the best demo of all of these keyboards.

a really nice rework of Floyd's On the Run

Secret piano sound.
Turn off the CP.
Place the instrument selector knob midway between any two instruments.
Turn on the CP.
You now have an acoustic piano sound.

Doctor Mix You need to get hired by Yamaha to do their official demos, as these and your other videos are by far the best presentations of the new synths and what they are capable of.

I don't see why people hate these. They sound fantastic. I know a lot of people hate small keys, but I don't see that as a reason to claim that they're garbage; I prefer my synths without any keys at all (mainly because I already have a midi master keyboard, but also a lack of space) but that's no reason for me to hate these. (:

I have the CP and have played the CS and DS and they are amazing., The controls are ingenious and so easy to get the sound you want.. I wish Yamaha could make module versions (No Keyboard, Rack mounted) of this series to save some space.

Sounds pretty good! But damnit we need more knobs on that DX!!! I'll deal with the mini keys, but more knobs on the DX should've been a given. We're not in 1983 anymore.
