To be able to draw great draw 3d objects so they look real, with shading and perspective, needs you to tune in the spatial awareness and aptitudes of your brain.

Like any other creative process, this needs practice to build pathways in your brain and build muscle memory in your hands.

In this video I show you how to do a simple exercise that will only take a couple of minutes each day, but it will have a visible effect on your drawing skills if you keep it up - all creative practice needs to be done every day.

The Pentel Aquash Brush

Huion A4 Tracing Light Pad

The Seawhite of Brighton a5 travel journal

The Cotman sketching watercolour set

Neutral Tint Half Pan Watercolour Paint

Naples Yellow Half Pan Watercolour Paint

Sadly there wasn't much new here besides the way to practice this. Still a great video tho!
Had to take an interior design class. Learned how to make sure that the shelf that is 1m long and right in front of you is proportional to the 1m shelf 10 meters further down the hall.
It was all very tedious but still interesting andd it helped with drawing perspective freehand a lot.

Hi, I started drawing recently and I noticed I struggle to visualize how shapes bend or rotate or simply how to manipulate them correctly, is this something that gets better or I just genetically suck at space visualization and that s my limitation?
