SASH Session, November 2020: Researching Club History

Recorded on November 6, 2020, the subject of this First Friday SASH session is researching and presenting club soccer history and features three members of the Society, advisory board member Dr. David Kilpatrick of Mercy College, Bob Gansler, and Derek Goncalves.

Kilpatrick, the official club historian of the New York Cosmos kicks off the session speaking about the club historian and his decade-long work with the Cosmos. Gansler, Jr. continues the session with his work on the nearly 100-year-old club Bavarian Soccer Club of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Goncalves talks about the resurrected history of his hometown club, the Fall River Marksmen of Fall River, Massachusetts.

SASH president Dr. Tom McCabe moderates the session, which concludes with a question and answer period.
