Since Duviri came out and many people start the game this way, i think it’s worth mentioning that upgrading your combat intrinsics to lvl 9 gives you Muscle Mass: “Drifter deals +25% damage. In the Origin System, both Drifter and Operator receive this boost.”

25% is a massive buff to any amp, and won’t require you to get high end amps for basic captures

The problem with a lot of other guides is that by the time they explain what to do, I'm already overwhelmed with what gear to use, how to mod for it, which role every player should play, and all these other things before learning the bare bones of the process. This was SO helpful.

this is the best beginner Eidolon guide on YouTube, simple but straight to the point, without complicated mechanics and respecting the "beginner" tag: no arcanes, no tier 3 amps, no endgame mods and gear. ty for this

holy hell this was so concise, i love it.

i'm a noob at this game with almost 1700 hours in it, but i've been a collector, not concerned with "end game" progression until recently, and doing these have always kind of terrified me because every guide has all these ultra high end requirements with proper arcanes and everything. its like, my guy, i haven't done any eidolon fights because i don't know how, so i have no arcanes you say you need to win.

you should do a beginner guide for all of the open world bosses, and for liches/sisters too, cause i'm lost on them too

Perfectly explained the mechanics to basic hunting... more tutorials should explain these simple steps for beginners, since that's basically the same as a 5x except without the strats and gear check for maximum efficiency.

Rhino with smite infusion is a much more starter friendly frame for Eidolons. I have ran them for years and helped many new players and will continue to argue that for the rest of my wf days. Vectis and lanka are great starter snipers as I believe vectis a pretty low mr req and Lanka i think can be purchased from a dojo for credits. Other then that solid for a 5min guide. Edit: Mr req 14 for vectis and 10 for lanka, so rubico is definitely the superior starter choice (Mr 12 req) but can opt for lanka if want or need. Great job! Apologies not sure why I thought the Mr req was lower for these.

i can capture teralyst, but i usually kill the next one bc keep the lure survive the lazer beam is hard
