The amount of people saying "It's just a Civilization rip-off mixed with XCOM" is hilarious. The Age of Wonders series has had this kind of gameplay for a loooonnngg while.

Nevermind the expected "it's civilization in space", I also see a lot of "that's xcom"! which surprises me.
XCOM, even when reduced to just the tactical combat, is very, very different from this. Here you can see where the enemy is, and it's not guerilla warfare. Yes there's an overwatch mechanics for that faction but the combat is obviously very different from XCOM.

Thanks to Paradox for bringing this game to PS4. I left PC gaming for PS4 and this was the only genre I was missing in console. Now my wait is over.

Such an excellent take on the Age of Wonders series. Fantasy gets old a little quicker. This game they make each faction original, differing their gameplay style and unit roster. Couldnt be more excited.

True fans of Age of Wonders aren't trying to compare to other games :"it's civ mixed with XCOM?" Nope, it's Age of Wonders, just like the previous ones, simply with more in depth faction progression, diplomacy and economics.
