I'm disappointed that people don't know the difference between Auli'i and Alessia's versions of How Far I'll Go. Auli'i did the "theatrical" or "show tune" version of the song (which is the original), while Alessia did the soul/rnb/pop version to match with today's top music genres. The reason why did the soul/rnb/pop version of it at the RDMAs is because it's upbeat.

this is one of those "frozen-let it go" moments where i prefer the movie version than the pop version. its so pure and amazing.

Why can't you guys just stop comparing Auli'i and Alessia? They have different voices and styles of music. Why can't we just enjoy this beautiful performance? They both did great and I like both of their versions of this song. Jordan sounded good as well. Let's just enjoy this amazing trio instead of comparing them and hating on them. Spread love people ❤

I gotta say one thing though, Alessia easily overpowered both Jordan and especially Auli'i. She just has such a strong, raspy and unique voice. When they harmonized in the end, I pretty much only heard Alessia. And like she wasn't even trying to be "louder" than the others. That is just her voice. That maybe wasn't that fortunate for the other two. But a good performance regardless 🙈

What I love about both of them is that they don’t have to edit there voice and add beats to it. They have talent. Others edit there voice but really have a bad voice. I love them so much
