You're lucky you didn't get any "GPU Bombs". Basically they are wired to actively destroy any motherboard that you plug it into, so that when you angrily try to return it for a refund they can claim that your motherboard is the issue.
A good way to determine if you have GPU Bomb is to connect an HDMI cable from a monitor (while the monitor is turned on) into the card. If the fan starts spinning without the card being plugged into anything else, DO NOT PLUG IT INTO A COMPUTER. I believe there are a few videos on Youtube that shows this happening. The only reason I knew about it was because a friend of mine got one of these off of Wish and it destroyed his whole setup, even the ram.
