Divo will be a key piece for the Wolves. Knicks are too stacked and unless some injuries happened like last year, he wasn't going to get a lot of minutes. He upped his worth with his playoffs run. Towns was the missing link in NY, who needed a big. Both teams benefit.

Lifelong MN guy here - I love the Wolves getting Donte & Randle. If you've watched the Wolves over the past five years, KAT left a lot to be desired when it came to putting the ball on the floor w/o turning it over, and defensively he made some of the damned dumbest fouls I've ever seen. Questions about Randle fit offensively, sure - I still think he'll be a plus both defensively and creating his own shot. Donte is a dream for us - he can play the 2 with Ant, or back up Conley while they slowly bring Dillingham along w/o rushing him in his development. Money is a plus too.

I love Donte too off the bench but he wants to be a starter. Im not taking a 6'4 Donte with a little above avg wing defense over a 6'6 Bridges with wingspan bigger than Wembanyama who is an ELITE wing defender, hasnt missed a game since being drafted and can give you 20 a game. This is the guy the Wolves have looked to pair with Ant since before Beasley. He's already using Rudy's gravity inside perfectly and postgame Ant said he LOVES playing with him which is scary as hell for any non Wolves fans.

It's confusing he knew when they traded for bridges he would have a reduced role unless they traded Julius randle because bridges and og needs to start but I would rather over pay Isiah hartenstien trade randle or let him walk so in my opinion the starting lineup brunson, donte, bridges, og and Hartenstien and hart and McBride as the 6th and 7th man of the bench but Its confusing because reports say he wanted to be traded because he doesn't want a reduced role

I like the Knicks offseason moves a lot but I still think they might of went abit too far with this last trade. Cool with Randle going but Donte is the high level roleplayer/ identity piece.
I also think this New York saga will define KAT’s career when it’s all said and done.
