Great video as always. thank u! A note on dentistry, we would just say second maxillary molars (implying both left and right second molars of the upper arch) or we could say tooth #2 and tooth #15. But we don't say 15th maxillary molar as this would imply there are at least 15 maxillary molars

Cool video. I like how you did not use that monotone voice most teachers use. (Very IMPORTANT) This was a straightforward video, short, sweet, but packed a wealth of knowledge and captivating too. Keep teaching us, cause most schools in the states have fail us inner city kids that actually want to learn something meaningful.

The path of CN 7 and its accessories is very important especially during Mumps and ear surgery. The nerve to the anterior 2/3 of the tongue (all that in the oral cavity) runs directly through the Parotid gland. Sometimes it must be sacrificed to enable visualization of the ossicles through the microscope.

Hello :) Do you happen to know more songs to help with memorising what the cranial nerves do?
Thank You!
Great video btw!

The video is good, but could be more by including the relations of the gland.

Interesting ...just learned about this gland but I always suspected there was something wrong with mine. Noticed at a young age...maybe 10-12 years old at barber shop. Whenever a barber would put their hand even near my parotid gland (mainly on the right side) I would feel an uncomfortable sensation. Kind of like a faint pins and needles sensation in anticipation to their hand touching that side of my face. Fast forward into my early 20s and now I sweat whenever I eat salty food. Like heavy sweating starting at that crown of my head. Now I want to get checked for issues with my parotid glands. Highly suspect something is wrong.
