Hi guys, so today I went to the shop to buy a completely different perfume bit it wasn't available and I came how unexpected with new Vanilla Diorama by Dior. It's my first fragrance from the exclusive maison Dior range. Usually I don't purchase perfumes after smelling them for the first time in the shop and never recommend to do that but sometimes it just happens.

Great to get your take on this Yana. The rum and vanilla opening sounds lovely but the longevity issue with Dior is the only reason why I don't have any Dior Prive in my collection. My principles won't let me buy them

I think Feve delicious is a not a gourmand at all. For me it is a luxury babypowder scent and ambre nuit for me is a little too masculine. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Gris Dior. And i'm excited for Vanilla Diorama

Just an awesome pick Yana. Yes the packaging and presentation is simple and minimalistic but it is all about the juice. It sounds delicious 😋. How does it compare to Pavilion Rouge by Jovoy?

I think it’s a bit unique in its own way. I like to layer it with Vanilla 28.

I loved Vanilla Diorama after smelling it and after a little too much wine just splurged and bought it online 😁 This perfume is so delicious from opening to dry-down. I just describe it as yummy and cozy. I’d love to see you talk about dupes for it and the samples they gave you. I adore Fève Délicieuse, and Tobacolor (I spray the smallest amount of this one and it seems to project and last a lot; someone said it smelled hypnotizing). I know I’m getting a sample of the Oud Ispahan from the same collection with my order because it was the only sample I didn’t have yet so I’m curious about that. I love Ambre Nuit but will have to wear my sample again to see if it’s unique enough for a full bottle because I can’t quite remember. Also you look gorgeous and that Nars lipgloss looks lovely on you!

I suppose that's one good thing about having so many releases in a year. One of them is bound to be decent. But thumbs down for boring drydowns! My favourite part of a fragrance.

I have three from the line though two of them are discontinued. The very best is Cuir Cannage named after the wickerwork Dior New Look chairs from the exhibition of 1947. Then it’s their great Leather Oud and then I have Santal Noir which is a very good sandalwood but the best that I don’t have is Ambre Nuit though I do have about 5ml of decants from the lovely staff at Dior, Selfridges, Manchester, England. Recently the range has gone in a very marketing-oriented direction or rather two directions: light florals directed at the Chinese market which they have entered bigtime including one called Holy Peony (which is the national flower of China) then a bunch of Arab-oriented stuff like the popular Oud Ispahan which is the purple one. As regards the design of the bottles this is associating minimalism with class which is what Chanel did with No.5 back 100 years ago and which Chanel still do with their Exclusifs range. Contrast and compare as apart from slight differences in typeface etc we are looking at minimal black and white labels with black branded magnetic caps and minimal looking boxes classily constructed: Chanel does square; Dior does round and that’s pretty much it. Obviously they compete in the clean-cut, sharp-edged expensive couture market side-by-side as they haqve done for over 60 years and that’s what the bottle design is all about.

When you started to describe the fragrance it sounded like one you would probably really enjoy. I would like to see another clip where you go through the samples that you received too. I finally own a sample of this new release, so I could make a comment. Your descriptions about this perfume are absolutely right. I call this Feve delisieuse flanker. I probably won't buy a bottle unless I find a good discounted price somewhere. My favorites from this line are feve and oud ispahan
