Great detailed video. Enjoyed all the comparisons as I was considering each one of these devices before I decided on the 351V. I ordered and should be receiving it tomorrow. I also appreciated all the details about scaling and shading changes to make. for me the best handheld to date!!!
i just love this little gadget so much :)
the handling is just perfect. the display is also a stunner!
up to and including PSX, everything runs perfectly and without any problems. Especially things like SNES, GBA, GB, GBC, FBN, MAME, Mega Drive look just sexy and razor sharp with a filter!

But what I love most is the Vertical form factor! I also have horizontal handhelds, but to be honest, I'm nowhere near as happy with them as I am with the RG351V!!!

I can really recommend this thing to everyone!

One thing folks can do as a quality of life improvement with the games that are loaded is to use a bulk file renamer to simply delete those first 5 or so letters so you can properly sort these things alphabetically.

I have been using one called Advanced Renamer (portable version) and it has been immensely helpful here. After setting up the rename rules (which it allows you to see the effects of changes on the fly) you can easily just roll all these files together, instruct it to delete the characters up to the game name, and now you can sort games alphabetically. Takes maybe a total of 20 minutes and makes everything so much easier.

For the shoulder buttons, I tend to use the middle of my index fingers instead of curling to use fingertips.
That crisp screen sitting on top with clean, minimal bezels is so slick. I'm really glad it's a part of Anbernic's lineup now.

After the work you complied on the Pocketgo S30 with Simple30 I just dont see enough of a reason to "upgrade" to this. Look forward to your continued work and dive into this one. Your work on the Pocketgo S30 was simply astounding.

As far as Gamboy I actually like the clamshell of the Powkiddy V90. I know it's a "toy" but I only use it for GB, GBC, GBA, and Game Gear. All of those were designed with a 3" screen in mind, and with the CFW update those are fantastic on that little thing.
