Ths drive II was vastly underrated. Elway faced with not one but two 4th downs with the season on the line and converted both. I was watching this as a kid and when he hit Vance Johnson the tears started running from my face as all that tension was released.

I was at this game sitting in the south stands. The first 2 drives by the oilers came right at us - I had never seen a more precise offensive display ever. I thought we (Denver) were in for a long day.

I can't believe the pass at 4:36 - Elway was running with almost no leverage on the throw, but still managed to rocket it about 20 yards.

GREAT upload/idea! I'm in the minority in being even more impressed by the heroics in the game against Houston (which Elway dubbed "The Overdrive") than in the much more famous "The Drive" vs. Cleveland. Both were spectacular, and the one you've called "Part 2" is criminally forgotten by most. I well-remember when it happened feeling like I had seen one of the most amazing finishes in all my decades of watching football. Excellent job posting this. Thank you!

As a kid, watching the Broncos Oilers game, I honestly thought that was one of the greatest things I ever saw. I don't understand why it isn't shown more regardless if it wasn't a game with high stakes. Anyways, thanks for the memory flashback.
