the rule of spin steal doesn't state that spin stealing only works against right spin. As long as you have rubber and are going the OPPOSITE ROTATION as your opponent, you can spin steal.

I feel like Fafnir can steal spin better because it has more rubber contacts but spriggan can spin steal from both left and right spinning beyblades so both are basically better in their own way

I think a spin stealing bey would need an automatic mode switch to stamina style to do really, really good. Like, put the rubber on a spring-loaded part which only extends when the bey is spinning fast. That way, the spinning speed stays synchronized until it's low, and at that point, attack beys won't have enough punch to knock out anyone, and defense beys will lose to stamina beys. It becomes a stamina duel, and if you have enough weight, you'll outlast other stamina beys. No bad matchups.
...Which I guess is the reason they haven't done this lmao.

I know a way to get spin steal on any bey.
1: put some rubber bands 6/7 on the driver/performance tip
2: put 1 on the metal part
3: hand spin it
4: burst finished
