WHAT IS THE IRON FLY STRATEGY?
The Iron Fly Options Trading Strategy is an options selling strategy that can generate consistent, weekly income. It does so by opening a 10-strike wide iron fly (iron butterfly) spread on SPY every trading day for a large credit of approximately $600. It benefits from theta, or time decay, and the trader exit when a specific profit target is reached. Thanks. Your videos are easy to watch and concise with your info. My live Trailing IF bot hits stop loss at 17% with 3% trail. I made the same mistake you did, closed out a position manually with a $14 gain yesterday, the same position in my paper account closed out later in the day for a $65 profit. This is why I need bots😅

Great content, much appreciated. It will be interesting to see how this performs in a higher volatility environment, which should be coming soon. Butterflies are great when the market is range-bound, but may run into problems if we get a sudden vol expansion and a strong move down (or up).

Thank you for what you are doing. I have started Tradier and Option Alpha using your link. Since April I have been up $700 live trading for just two weeks, with a trailing stop15 and 5%. QUESTION: If I want to scale up a bit; would it be better to set option alpha to do 2 contracts instead of 1, or better to run the same bot again to initiate the 1 contract trade at a different time, say 2PM. So, two 1 contract bots at different times or 1 bot doing 2 contracts at the same time? Any thoughts?
