Molecular Imaging for Immunotherapy

Amy Vavere, PhD, the moderator of this popular session at #SNMMI19 – gives an overview of the main takeaways – including several targets being explored for radiotracers because of the huge impact that therapy is having on patient care, finding ways to image side effects and downstream results of therapies that currently aren’t available to radiologists, looking at immune response itself to antibody treatments by other imaging such as MR or CT, nuclear medicine scientists having an opportunity to come up with ways to image the processes and aid the radiologists and oncologists in making better decisions on what to do next for patients.
