My brother used to set Guarding GIs, snipers, and legionaires guarding his base to get them promoted to elite. He would then put them all in a battle fortress and it was quite a force to be reckoned with.

Elite units inside make a really big difference, but the unfortunate part is the units inside don't get promoted. If you manage to put 4 Elite Guardian GI and a Tanya inside, then its one hell of a unit, but requires so much micromanagement to get them to be promoted before going in BF.

I mean it kinda make sense
elite BF does absolutely nothing beside having tougher hp and regeneration, it really doesn't buff the units from the inside
which is why I always bring the elite units that I just used a lot for BF and buy a new one to take their spot

What if the battle fortress is elite and the units inside aren't? Would it make a difference if BF is elite and units are elite?

Hi your videos are great! Do you think that you can do a video on for example 50 slave miners vs 200 grizzly tanks? And then do 50 apocalíptic tanks vs 200 grizzly tanks, and battle 50 fortress(filled with all kinds of different infantry and compare which is best) vs 200 grizzly tanks? The idea is to see high armoured vehicles against standard tanks. Thanks a lot.
