Crossing the Potomac is now a massive inconvenience for some in places like Poolesville, Md. The ferry service they once relied on stopped in 2020 as the result of a lawsuit, leaving residents calling for solutions.

I know people who used that ferry for years to go to their jobs in Montgomery County. They started jobs and businesses with the assumption that this ferry would keep running just as it had for hundreds of years. The new landowners have killed a beautiful quaint ferry because of their greed. It's about time the state seized their land. Give them a fair market value, and maybe even build a bridge to spite them.

Why don't they agree to the fare hike and let the market dictate it's success🤷. They hike tolls all the time. Greenway tolls are disgusting.
