How To Catch False Albacore (albies) on Cape Cod with 'Albie Snax'

Показать описание
False albacore (albies) show up on Cape Cod usually during the first week of September (sometimes earlier, sometimes later - it depends).
Everyone gets excited when they arrive because false albies are so much fun to catch. They put on impressive topwater feeds and long drag blistering runs when targeted with light tackle spinning setups.
Albies can at times be finicky and difficult to fool. Over the past few years I've really fallen in love with using the Albie Snax soft plastic lures. They tend to get more bites than other lures and they cast very well for soft plastics.
In this video I am fishing during the middle of September all by myself along a beautiful stretch of coastline here on Cape Cod, Massachusetts. The albies are everywhere and biting everything in sight. In about an hour of fishing I caught a dozen albies and probably could of caught many more had I not been focused on filming video.
