ok this video was awesome but i would like to elaborate on some thing.

1. w-tapping. don’t spam w when you are in a combo or close to the edge. only press it right after they hit you because if your are constantly sprinting, the knockback is a lot more than if you aren’t sprinting, so you wanna let go of a and press it again to break the sprint and therefore braking the kb.

2. combo-ing. when combo-boing someone, the reason you wanna either w-tap or strafe if because if your sprint head on while combo-ing someone, you will be going faster than you can hit them and at some point, you will get close enough for them to hit you which breaks the combo. w-tapping can be applied here as well. break the sprint when combo-ing so you don’t go too fast and they can’t hit you.


bonus (3). PREDICTABILITY. this is a HUGE one. **hypixel sumo players are predictable** once you get to the point where you can comfortably win games, you start to develop habits in games (like juking them at the start, which is what i do) to throw them off, or confuse them. for me after about 500-600 wins in sumo i noticed my habit. because of how predictable people are in sumo. i can easily win without fail every game unless they know what i’m doing and stop me. then it’s a normal game which i can’t cheese. i won’t name other examples of why a lot of sumo players are predictable, because it’s something you have to notice for yourself.


bonus bonus (4). when i usually grind sumo is at 9pm EST. don’t ask me why, but people tend to suck at this time, so it’s good for grinding wins, or keeping a win streak.


bonus bonus bonus (5). use lunar client. (or bad lion client) when using lunar, a little logo appears to the left of everyone’s name who uses lunar as well. (this works for other clients) you can use this to your advantage because if you are worried about hackers, lunar client players can’t use hacks. (to my knowledge) also see if they are high level. if it’s a steve skin with super low hypixel level (a setting you can toggle to show a persons hypixel level next to their name as well) they are mega sus and will probably b-hop on you. so just quit the game before it starts.

This video encouraged me to strafe more, and I noticed one thing. To get your hits to register more, start clicking only when your opponent is in range. If you are far, then you can stop clicking. Otherwise, this video was pretty helpful.

If you click lower, you lose.
If your opponent has less ping, you lose.
If your opponent has more ping, you lose.
