This guy came to my school, every year we had a public speaker and he came for my… sophomore or junior year, I can’t remember. But it was amazing to ask in person questions about his past and how he ended up working for the feds.
Edit: we watched the movie school wide the day before he came, so it was all fresh in our memory. This was also just a few years ago, as I graduated in 2021.

There’s a fairly solid theory that the actual con is this entire story. There is only record of a small fraction of these crimes, and there is little to back up him being hired by the FBI. Either way he’s a massive con artist.

Bro his book was so good and although it's still a little over exaggerated its so much more detailed on the specific jobs he took and even how many of his capers were done. I found it very interesting and overall a great read. Not to mention the movie was a rollercoaster even though most of it was a little over the top

I've read that the movie is over exaggerated and it's just based on some things Frank did. Research for yourself because there is lots of evidence that says Frank over exaggerated his story

saying he exagerrated would be an understatement, lol. most of what happened in the movie was proven to be straight up lies. he's only a con artist in the sense that he managed to fool people into making a movie about him lmao
