I watched this because it said, "get rid of knee pain WITHOUT surgery". How is this not surgery? And the recovery period seems just as long (if not longer) and intense as a full knee replacement. I know. I recently had a TKR for my right knee and getting the second one done soon.

I believe artificial cartilage replacement will be a game-changer for people of any age and a lot better than a knee replacement

Sounds like it's less radical surgery than a replacement.
I had a replacement. It's painful. But with medication, you return to normal in 6 mos or so and can walk with a crutch or walker very shortly after surgery. With proper medication, the pain is controlled. Certainly not a 10.
If you will eventually need a replacement anyway, might as well do it. If you are a younger person, this might be preferable as prosthetic knees have a limited lifespan. If you are older and healthy, better to just replace the knee.

This is very interesting. Is there a clinic or Doctors in Illinois that does this?

Only reason because surgery was totally successful is because doctor is good and patient is still very young and active and that helps with recovery process. Also main problem with surgery like this is atrophy and infection can be big problem for older patients. But in her case with much less risk due too her age.

Had subchondroplasty in 2015. Big fail. Ended up with R TKR in 2017 and L TKR in 2020 and I've been good to go ever since!

This appears to be almost more complex than surgery-especially post “procedure and rehabilitation afterwards.

Why are other countries always ahead of the US in medical science technology?

A whole yr recovery time? A knee replacement is less recovery time than that “experiment”. Nah I’ll pass

So can eating a low carb/keto/carnivore diet and fasting. Many have said their pain went away when the inflammation caused by a high-carb diet went away. I’ve even watched a video with a doctor telling a story about a patient with bone-on-bone n the knee, and even that pain went away.

this is only for those with minor specks of cartilage wear. total worn out cartilage wont get fixed with MACI.
