OMG, that plastic piece of the bottom is a total nightmare. Both sides were stuck. Some videos show them coming of so easy or just skip this section of the process. At least you mentioned snaps but without knowing where are the snaps or knowing the piece in advance, it may be so hard. I spend hours trying to find out how to remove them. Yes, out and up, but for hours... I wished to know where to stick a scredriver to release the snaps. It was not easy at all.

Just done my Nikola 84v and its taken about 3 hours (mainly because i gave it a bloody good cleaning too). Its not easy, especially as im not good with anything electrical at all
