As a slovak, I thank you for a great presentation of our country. Beautiful shots, sound and editing. You did a very valuable work for our country. Better than our government and department for travel did to date. I hope you have enjoyed the stay in Slovakia... 🙂

Always makes me happy when people make it beyond Bratislava. Yes, Slovakia is very underrated but that's fine, overtourism isn't cute:)

Be careful that these mountains, while seemingly small, are the real deal. Approach them with the same respect, you would approach the Alps. Many people, especially from my country (Czechia) make the mistake of underestimating the High Tatras. Slovaks have dozens of stories, ranging from funny to outright tragic, about Czechs getting stranded or even lethally injured, because they underestimated their hiking skills and required gear (clothes, boots etc.). These beautiful mountains deserve your utmost respect! Slovakia is like tiny Switzerland.

I just happened to visit High Tatras last month. Memory of the beautiful nature is still very fresh and unforgettable. Same as rafting on river Dunajec in Cerveny Klastor Pieniny, Slovak-Polish border. Approximately 60km from Tatranska Lomnica. We'll never forget peaceful God's given nature in the middle of summer vacation. Absolutely stunning. Will be back for sure.❤❤

What a wonderful vlog. I really enjoyed it.
Being a Czech having lived in Scandinavia for the past 20 years, I really miss "our" mountains. When I visited my home land this year, I have been to High Tatras with my 80-year-old parents for a week long trip and it was wonderful. Not climbing as much as you did ( logically) but we had some great time too ( Skalnate pleso, Strbske pleso, Stary Smokovec, Tatranska Lomnica, Hrebienok etc.)
I can only imagine how shaky it must have been to reach that summit and then look down and start descending. Imagine how people did it more than 100 years back, no sporty clothes, no granola bars, and ladies in long skirts and hats :-)
(All I could look at with concern was the young lady´s bare shoulders, turning redder and redder with time passing, thinking - oh boy, that will be some serious sun burn in the evening, the same I sustained when I was descending Skalnate pleso with my son mid-July this year:-) .
Koliba Kamzik visit with local dishes tasting looked like such a fun.

High Tatras are gorgeous and I hope I will return one day again.

I grew up in Slovakia, I don't live there now (work and family reasons) and I miss the mountains so much. It's been a few years since I visited High Tatras, I hope I will be able to go there next year. I used to hike a lot and the nature there is just amazing. I'm glad you had a great weather, so you could properly enjoy it, I know the views are so much better in real life! <3

Nice video guys, glad to see that you enjoyed your stay in Slovakia. Just a heads up though, flying a drone is not permitted in the national parks of Slovakia. There have been cases of mountain goats falling off cliffs and dying after being startled by a drone. The fines can be pretty significant if you get caught.
