It's sad how many TV shows have basically disappeared.

This is why I like physical copies of things. I realize there isn’t a physical option for this show, and that sucks so much ass. I’ve seen so many shows, movies, games, etc. get removed or delisted from whatever service they were available on.

I hate that the world is slowly transitioning to digital everything. If you have a piece of physical media that you love, anything at all, movies, games, pictures, anything - hold onto it for dear life. Back it up if you are able. Because someday digital will be all there is, and you will own nothing. Back it up while you can.

I have all the seasons digitally. A friend gave them to me years ago. They are awesome because they have tbs banners saying stuff like "Now The Drew Carey Show" and "Next Replacements with Keanu Reeves" gives me heavy nostalgia.

It really stinks how you can’t find this show on any streaming platform or get it on DVD or Blu Ray. Not too long ago, I purchased a bootleg Blu Ray version of the show and binge watched the entire thing. Best $50 I’ve ever spent!

Drew Carey is an inspiration for all Midwest fat guys. I'll never forget the path he blazed

Why can't Drew Carey just purchase the rights to his show and then cut a deal with the music industry for unlimited play
of the episodes?

WKRP had to change most of the sound track for replay because of music copyright, it lost something with the generic music they put in its place.

Back in the 90s Drew Carey show is one of my favorite TV shows. I watched the reruns on TBS as well.

awww i LOVE the drew carey show, it truly was so unique.... with regular fourth-wall-breaks and random musical numbers... it truly had its own style!

I loved watching this as a kid, it taught me about how adult life was going to be like. It was such a funny creative show, and all the characters worked well together. I had seen reruns on the Laff channel

the Drew Carey Show was on Laff TV for a little bit about 8 years ago. i think that was the first time i watched the show since the show ended. hopefully the reruns find their way back to the airwaves. it's truly a classic

It was on the Internet Archive for awhile, but now it's gone. I downloaded it and made mp4 DVDs (just for myself) immediately. Now I'm really thankful I did, because the music rights will keep the show off DVD, Blu, and, I guess, streaming. Doggone it!

In the words of, Rage Against The Machine, "they don't have to burn a book, they just remove it." The same thing applies to television shows and movies that have developed our past culture. For those of us with foresight, we knew the true value of The Pirate Bay. We only know where we going if we know where we are and where we have been. Take away the knowledge and understanding of where we came from and we can be pointed to proceed in any direction, even culturally.

There was a time when I considered both this show and Whose Line Is It Anyway to be "can't miss" looking back you realize the Steve character was the tip of the iceberg for what was coming in America

Well, good news: the show is now streaming all 9 seasons on Plex.
