Hey! guys welcome to this you tube channel "ELEMENTARY PHYSICS " . Today in this video I showed how anyone can find the Miller Indices of any plane in a crystal structure . Miller Indices has very important aspects in determining the structure of any kind of solids . To find the structure of any solids we use the method called X-ray diffractometer which sends X-rays in crystal structure and then by reflection of X-rays from any highly dense planes of atoms we can easily find the structure of any crystal . In this video I showed many examples of planes and their respective Miller Indices , like -
(1,1,0) , ( 1,1,0) , (1,1,1) , ( 1,-1,0) etc . Hope this video will help you to understand this particular topic .
