The best way to shop for car insurance online | Pay less for insurance with an app

Getting a quote on your car and/or home insurance has always been a hassle. Calling multiples companies and getting schooled by agents that seem to either look down on you for not knowing what bodily injury means or, some that don't understand it themselves. On top of it all, it never fails when you find the right agent, they retire!

Not anymore. In this video I go over the new app Cover and show you how they are giving you options. I saved over $800 in my quote with this app. No more getting unwanted phone calls with agents following up. The app allows you to text and let the agent know if/when you're ready to talk.

Don't need an agent? No problem! You can buy the insurance through the app itself, sometimes, they'll give you credit to get it started. I'm simply amazed!

I’m a retired insurance agent. That’s a profession that technology is rapidly rendering irrelevant. I saw the handwriting on the wall and decided, after 38 years, to sell my agency at market value and retire. That is proving to be a wise decision.

Personal lines insurance like cars, homes, boats can be easily sold on line. Commercial insurance is more complicated but I think that will eventually be sold mostly on line too.

Technology is destroying a number of jobs and careers but that’s how civilizations advance, but technology is also offering new opportunities and careers. If I was a college student I’d definitely major in computer and technology degrees.

Isn’t possible that car insurance agent lie on the application for customers to get cheap cost Then later car insurance denied claim because they think customers lie?

You know agent can lie about the mile use or commutes vs pleasant use. When customers tell commutes mile use the agent enter pleasant use then premium less but when get to accident car insurance denies claim and tell that customer lie to get cheap premium?
