Japanese selvedge raw denim is considered to be the greatest denim on Earth. It also may be the most adjective heavy denim on Earth. Today we are looking into Iron Heart, specifically the 21oz denim used on their 634S jeans (and others as well of course). What makes Iron Heart so special? Is there anything about them that IS special? What makes them built for motorcyclists or bikers? What about all of these other brands using incredibly heavy denim: Naked & Famous, Strike Gold, Momotaro, etc.?!

Find out...TODAY!

Bye.

I own 2 pairs of pants. They are both Iron Heart 25oz. What convinced me to invest in these was the free repairs for life (oh, and having 35-37" inseams - unheard of in Japanese denim). I already have over 1000 wears on one of them, and more than 300 on the other. They are pants I could imagine wearing the next couple decades. Their 25oz is the best on the market. Tightly woven, and less prone to cracking then other brands. It's nice to simplify my wardrobe by owning very few, but only the best, clothes.

I don't think a lot of us don't realize how much goes into one of these video. Getting something to actually talk about, understanding it down to it's core, and portraying and editing the story into another incredible video. Once again, well done Michael

Iron heart really lived up to what’s people have said . I started with shirt with a kersey and then a flannel and now a denim shirt. It’s truly insane and jeans are next on the list. Their customer service is by far the best, I have experienced. You can ask them to find an exact measurement you need and I’ve been able to get all my shirts in the same measurements. It’s really amazing

Japanese guy who came from watch channel here. I’m 40s and in 90s everybody was wearing Levi’s, Evis, Denime or Sugar Cane who’s into music and fashion. (Except for hip hop guys wearing Guess & Nautica)
In 2000s, Diesel & G-star (hip hop guys Bape)
Now, orslow, Resolute & other independent brands are popular in general.
I like your editing style & would like to see watch version of this😉

Every biker is obsessed with something that costs 300+$

I think some folks online like to hate on Iron Heart because many in the fan base proudly wear it from head to toe which can come off a bit tacky. However there's no denying the quality of the denim and sickness of the fades.

Owner of IH 777s 14OD and it's true, they feel so different compared to any of my other denim and I own pairs from Kato, Momotaro, Samurai, Oni and Naked & Famous and have tried Brave Star.

IH is soft and comfy, there is almost next to no break in time needed and at least from my black OD pair the fades have actually been really fast and are looking great.
The quality is on point, every stitch, hem stitch and so on is perfect...nothing is loose, or coming out or anything at all compared to even my nicer Samurai 710 organic cotton pair.
I also own two different denim jackets from IH and the quality is equally as good and the customer service from IH UK's site was great, they double checked everything with me regarding sizing and I do love them despite the expensive price tag.

One last thing not mentioned, IH jeans have lined back pockets too, they feel nice and soft when you reach in to grab a phone or wallet, not many brands do this.

When I saw you were finally talking about Iron Heart I was excited. When I saw you were reviewing the same pair I am currently wearing, I was giddy. I've owned my 634S for about 3 years now and I can kind of see why people compare them to sweat pants. The customer service I've received from Iron Heart International has been awesome. It's just a matter of time before I buy from them again.

I think the beige yarn for the weft gives the Iron Hearts an "on the road" vibe. Like I'd see them on a guy stopped at a gas station in the desert.
Also got my Mammoth a few days ago, and it's working well for my first New England cold spring!

Watching this in my 21oz overdyed IH 777s! Great video. I don´t think IH is overhyped. They just have one of the best packages. As you concluded the support, service and offer that is brought to us by Giles and Haraki san is just unbelievable.

Please don't think these jeans will protect you if you fall off your bike! They're slightly more effective than shorts but will become essentially tissue paper one second into your slide. Wear something leather or Kevlar . Speech over. Dads going to bed

I went to Japan to the Iron Heart shop on the road to Mount Fuji (everyone going by car to Mount Fuji should do so).
The service was amazing, the shop is really laid back and raw AND PRODUCT ARE 2/3 cheaper than outside Japan !! I bought a 634S for 90£ ! And they bespoke cut the length to your linking.

I honestly like numerous Japanese denim brands; Samurai, The strike Gold, PBJ for their different textures (see the hank-dyed natural indigo in the Aizome AI PBJ!), some colors (see the Samurai Uguisu), and others. But if there was only one brand I could buy, it would be a super close battle between Samurai and IH, and IH would most likely win that battle. I am currently wearing one pair on jeans every day as a sort of exercise in minimalism. This is the Indigo-Black IH-777-21oz. And yes, this thing is a beast and yet it is indeed super soft in now time, molds extremely well to your shape, and has a level of construction and thereby of comfort that is (to me) unparalleled.
Let alone all the fantastic shirts and jackets they are producing. The Kersey shirt is just a beautiful and SUPER comfy piece of clothing. Their flannels are top, the denim shirts amazing, and (as you mentioned) their overdyed garments STUNNING. I have an 18oz OD CPO, that I love.

So yes, IH is special.
