YZ 125 Engine in YZ 85!

They put a YZ 125 engine in a YZ 85 chassis! This is nuts!

When i was a teenager i fabricated a rm 125 into a 87 kx 80 . What a lil rocket ship! Beautiful bike !

When we were racing motocross in the 80's a friend of ours was an excellent motorcycle mechanic . He stuffed a 250 RM engine ( air-cooled ) into a Honda QA 50 frame ! It was wicked fast until you hit 4th gear ...then it would get into a high speed wobble and spit you off ! It was kind of a challenge for motocrossers ... and you couldn't put your feet on the pegs so it was like our version of a rodeo ! PK

Looks like they took the 125 chassis and is swapped over a 85 front and rear to it.

That's like putting my 84 kawasaki tecate 330 stroker vforce 3reeds tuned on 116 octane kx500 flat slide carburetor into a kx125 or a kx60 lol

Iv got the worlds first cr125 supermini its in a cr85rb frame still in the tidying up process at the moment

I knew a kid Adam Wirth if he's in this forum I hope he sees this he had a Yamaha blaster I believe 01 or 02 with a yz250 engine and ext swing arm absolute monster of a quad I was beating trx450rs and a stock 350 banshee with that blaster just nasty and powerband instantly every gear.

Oh that's so sick when I was a kid I wanted to do that so bad. I eventually just outgrew it and got a bigger bike but to see it and now that's so cool
