Imphal Talkies and The Howlers - Mr. President is Coming

‘Mr. President is coming’ is a song that talks of militarisation in the state Manipur. The song was written after a couple of band members of Imphal talkies got beaten up by the Manipur police sometime in 2013 during the Indian President’s visit to Manipur.
Every time the band plays the song outside Manipur, the band says it can be a tourist guide for tourists who love checking out the local rice brew as the song has got a list of names of booze joints in town even if Manipur is a dry state.
