As a Singaporean we got 0% dividend tax in our local stocks but we got 30% withholding tax from USA stocks. My current portfolio is currently 40% in dividend paying Singapore stocks and 40% SPY500 ETF and 20% growth stock. Im in the mid of career change therefore i will put more money in Singapore government bonds as safety cash. New subscriber here!
