Ok so i have a theory.
Does dark, ghost likes creatures "gurdians", they contain creatures like that fire monster. That was why an alarm went off when it appeared, it probably had breached it's containmet. Albert was one of those guards,
maybe the player was a corrupt guardian, that helped the fire monster escape.
