That was an interesting pronunciation of Heretic...

Why do you keep showing the wrong actor in Smile 2. The dead boyfriend was played by Jack Nicholson's son, not the drug dealer and they are two different people.

"Oddity" has one of the most predictable jump scares (the scene with the tent), and it still scares the crap out of me every time I watch it. LOL That's the sign of a good horror movie.

Jump scares can be cheap, but when they're done right, they definitely get your heart rate up.

I'd argue that the whole tent sequence is pretty predictable, but that doesn't mean it's any less scary.

As long as they get the current Alien and Predator creative teams to collaborate on it, I'm 100 percent on board for another attempt at an AvP movie. Preferably if it is also set in the future that the Alien films take place in so we can see some high tech science fiction weapons and gadgets being used by Predators and humans alike.

Heretic? I swear mispronouncing words is a way to get engagement like this

Wow. Thank you to the actress that allowed the practical effects to be used instead of visual/cg effects. Hope she's doing better now. Seems it paid off.

Ray Nicholsons's smile reminds me more of Jack Nicholson'ss Joker than of Jack Torrance.

I think Oddity is probably "scary" to certain people due to the wooden statue being so "uncanny valley" like M3gan was. They're "humanesque" so the human brain is trying really hard to humanize them even more and that drops them into the uncanny valley and for certain people (a lot of them) THAT is the "scariest" part. There were people who thought "I, Robot" was "scary" because of the robots (the main one) being so human-like. So...I understand...but I don't agree that it makes them "scary" at least not to me and probably not to most of us who regularly watch scary movies. I don't consider "The Silence of the Lambs" or "Hereditary" to bea "horror" movies but everyone I know does and so do most movie websites/channels/reviewers.

Ray Nicholson
Becomes the Joker/Jack Torrance in those few moments. I hope he gets bigger roles.

Just heart rate wouldn’t register fear alone. If my adrenaline went off from anger because:
Why are you making that noise at me?
I’m not deaf; the noise doesn’t have to be that loud.
Oh, look!—it’s an empty room.
I realize that basements and night are dark, but if I can’t see what’s happening, I don’t need to keep bothering to pay attention.
At the beginning of this film your expert said that didn’t work like that—at least follow your own rules!, etc….it would also raise my heart rate

The pronunciation of Heretic as Hair-ettic is hilarious to me. Is this a British thing or has he just never heard the word before?
