I just don't know why you need more than one island in a kitchen?!
Several of these are really pretty and ginormous!

Some random thoughts: I wonder if Bob Denver spent all of his time at his island. Does Tom Hanks keep a volleyball on his? Do island breezes come from range hoods? Is there only one seat at a private island? Do islands in Hawaii have a lot of visitors? If the New York Islanders had a smaller arena, would they be called the Peninsulas? And finally: Do you have island fever?

I think 2 islands with 3 sink is a little excessive unless you do A LOT of entertaining with a catering service.

Love your upbeat Island music, I could listen to it for hours. I Could not help but notice that they obviously did not listen to the CEO of kitchen design. HSKT and smushy knees. Pretty though, very pretty!

This video was pretty cool! I certainly was looking lustily at some of these beautiful designs...! If only I had a vault of cash, this would be one of the first places I'd go wild - on kitchen design. My boss called during the live... so I had to cut to take is call. Sorry!

A large number of these went completely over my head, the others were like “what were they thinking?” and finally a few that were “so there’s still normal people in the world “😢. I’m totally not judging the Star Trek kitchen designs😂.

Very nice collection of innovative, striking designs. However, it's worth noting how many of them did not have proper ventilation over the cooktop. IMHO: Ventilation is one of the most critical things to have in a properly functioning kitchen. And, some of those with ventilation had shelving above the cooktop, under the hood which is a cooking grease and soot catcher. Ovens placed at eye level or higher are dangerous. Additionally, many of the cooktops were 30" induction. Love induction, but 30" is nearly useless. Would be nice to see a collection of kitchens that are more functional and easy to maintain.

Nice ideas but not everyone lives in Montreal, Toronto or Vancouver.😉 We’re going for humble and comfortable in a small space but ready to cook some great meals. Thinking bistro.

Mess adds stress to a fatigued mind.
Open plan kitchens can be hard to live with because of the kitchen mess that is part of a working kitchen. My comment.

I live with part open plan kitchen and love much about it.

Any ideas about rapid clean up or hiding the mess would be a brilliant thing.

A working butlers pantry can be valuable for the daily events.
Noisy kitchen work can be shut off.
Roll down to the bench top, storage area, is simple for using and accessing bench top appliances.

A stove against a wall with extraction hood above is safest.
An island with a sink is handy.
A huge deep laundry sink near the dishwasher is valuable for stacking dirty pots and dishes out of site for the dishwasher loading after.

Have you a video on these incorporated in an open kitchen

Why would anyone want to sit like frogs on a log and face a wall! What about a 3- sided island where people can actually look at each other, converse, and eat together? How does 3+ people make sense especially if you’re cooking and presenting foods as they watch and chat. Poor cook must feel like a bartender 😂. “Come on and belly up to the bar everyone” 🫣
