Does The Bible Mention Dinosaurs?

I don't think a hippo (or elephant, for that matter) fits the description of the behemoth, based on the tail alone, 'like a cedar tree'. The crocodile doesn't fit the description because the behemoth eats grass. I always understood it to be a brontosaurus or similar. Of course, I could be wrong, but what else could it honestly be, based on that description?

Wasnt the word dinosaur never used or invented until the 1800s. So its possible they had other words for them??

I would love to know more about these two opposing views. I find this so interesting and I have often wondered how it fits into my own faith plus science. Based on this description I guess I’m an old earth or but I don’t think I know enough to really determine.

There's another interpretation, both are true. Humans are older than we believe which would explain why the early humans who lived longer had thicker bones built to last, just like every thing else during that time. The brow bone never stops growing which is why ancient human skulls look ape-like.

I think you are so wrong Sean when you state behemoth could just as easy be a hippo or crocodile. READ the passage and please explain to me how you come to that conclusion.
