UV camera used this way does not tell you how effective a sunscreen is. It just tells you how well you applied it - if you missed a spot or not. A sunscreen that looks lighter with a UV camera used this way can still be more effective than one that looks darker. Buy sunscreens that are independently lab tested. There are many to choose from.

Simply ensure to use good products on your face. Read the ingredients label and select what's beneficial. I realized this through my mistakes. I currently stick to littlllextra riceberry sunscreen, face wash, face serum, and moisturizer and nothing else on my face. My dull skin has become much brighter and remains moisturized. No issues or breakouts, just glowing skin.

The stick is mineral and the cream is chemical. Mineral always appears lighter under UV

Apparently, you need at least 20 swipes to reach the needed protection. Michelle from Lab Muffin Beauty just made an experiment recently

I can't remember where I read it, but I read that sunscreen sticks require "4-5 back and forth passes" to reach full protection, which seemed clear but made me question myself. I could never figure out if that counted each direction as a pass (ie whether "back and forth" counted as one or two passes), but this answers it. 8-10 swipes, phew!

Can you apply sunscreen, then a full face of makeup on a Uv camera so we can see if applying makeup with sponges, liquids and cream products wipe off sunscreen

Sunscreen stick is for reapplying while sun cream is used in general. I think both are great and sunstick should be carried everywhere

Dang lol I love my sun sticks. I definitely don’t ever just do 2 swipes though so yeahhh lol always apply liberally! I measure out 1 cm every use✌️

Sun cream is good but i think most people that use makeup wont reapply so sun sticks is for that also use the cream one under makeup lmao or makeup with spf
