Phase 1 phonics - Identifying sounds all around us - DAY 2

This is the second lesson in Sounds all around us (the first unit in the series Preparing for reading and writing for Preschool children). The video is full of entertaining and fun activities to encourage children to become good listeners. Activities build on those in the earlier lesson.

Games include identifying different transport sounds and guessing the new items in the farmer's barn through careful listening. The children also get to let the farmer know when help is arriving for his poorly sheep and tell him when his family are arriving back from a fantastic holiday!
