Enjoyed the lightheartedness of your cast, and agree wholeheartedly with your personal opinion in using these vintage drawing/writing instruments, preferring them over modern industry standard tech-pens with consistent line widths. Many of my dip pens are very old indeed, nearly qualifying as antiques, even if the nib patterns are far older than my pen staffs ever attest to being. I love it and Voltaires quote fits very well! It would be also interesting to see your whole process for illustrating a poem. Especially how you analyze the more abstract ones and bring them to paper :) I sometimes have difficulties to substantiate ideas or feelings I have to make an illustration out of it :3 (fellow masochist here xD)
