I am a Christian and am always appalled at these things. We need to be vigilant at this time so as not to lose our rights. It up to reach individual to choose not to to me or anybody else. We really need to be careful especially now.

I use to be in that community. When I saw the misogyny, fear mongers, crazy hypocrisy to Christ 's teachings, straight out hate & abuse, even cult like practices, I left Western Christianity. I still believe in God, but see God in a very different light than the Christianity teachings. I believe religion can be very dangerous. What you're seeing now openly, I saw 20yrs ago. It was difficult for me to get out, but getting out was easier than getting the beliefs out of my head. It was like leaving a cult; my husband de-programed me. 😒 I can't believe I was so brained washed. 🤭 But not about love, compassion and what Christ taught. We aren't punished for our sins, but by our sins.

These so called Evangelicals remind me of faux leather. From a distance, it looks genuine but the closer you get to it, the more you realise that it doesn’t look, feel or smell, right, and you can clearly discern that it’s not real!
