It truly dives into a style of production tutorial that doesn't exist anywhere else on youtube. It's not fundamentals, it's not tips and tricks, it's not some whacky new method that nobody uses, it's just focusing on creating an overall SOUND which is truly how the producer should think in my opinion. THANK YOU for debunking the LCR panning myth. Everyone is so obsessed with making their music as wide as possible and they don't just stop and think "huh, maybe I actually WANT something panned halfway." It happens everywhere in popular music. The only criticism I have is that your description of what sausage fattener does is a little oversimplified, but at the end of the day, if that's what you're hearing, then who cares. Nice and educative video. Just a little criticism: Please mention what psychedelia actually is, what makes something psychedelic, what are the most influential examples of psychedelic sound when making videos like this. Yes, the video is about copying and learning a production technique pool, but without the background and the philosophy of the intention, the process becomes meaningless.
