This says it works with Mac, Windows and iOS but I can confirm it also works just fine with a USB-C Android phone. You just need to purchase a different cable or adaptor. But then android phone work with any USB class compliant audio interface.

Good podcast, I just bought this unit. I wanted to know, that you did not show is how do you connect the mic to the unit. I wish Sure had the option to buy an adapter/ cable with this unit. I have both types of mics one with a 3.5mm cable and one with the SXL male connector.

how about audio quality from the headphone output? as the new iphones have no headphone out and the lightning port is used by the iphone (fx-app) i need a decent analog output to connect the shures-out with a audiomixer.

Curious, were you using the Cloudlifter anywhere in the test recording of the MVI? If not, would it be possible? Not sure if the MVI, thru the iPhone connection (17V like you showed), would provide enough power for the Cloudlifter?

Can you connect this with an android? Like with an XLR mic connected to the Android? Only reason asking is because I bought a TESCAM IXZ... To no avail, .. went around YouTube asking for questions and everyone said to get this! Are they correct? 😊

I am just unable to connect the it with my iphone 12.. The device dnt get on but if i connect with the laptop it works...i am also using originaln apple usb 3 lighting cable... Plz advice..🙏

I noticed you have a cloudlifter there. Do you find it necessary for dynamic mics with the MVi?

When this is used on a ios device how many db's of gain will this interface provide? I'm wondering if a cloud lifter would work with this connected to ios but if it has it's own input gain that would work I would think?

Hey man, love your videos. You said you plugged in the AT2020, but va didn’t say if it was ipad or pc/mac. That would not work on the ipad because of the 16v right? Also, are you plugged into a Cloudlifter?
