OMG...5 minutes in I had to stop...the amount of jumping around and seeming seat-of-your-pants presentation style is really really hard for ME to sit through. This is amazingly scattered.

No, it isn't your connection. A lot of people experience the same problem on the desktop version. Something is wrong with this app. It's so slow. The animations are so slow, and all the design takes forever because it's sluggish.
