Cisco ENCOR 350-401 || Exam Passed - My Thoughts & Study Tools

I passed the Cisco ENCOR Exam 350-401 today and wanted to share my thoughts about the test and the study material/tools I used.

For me dont read the ocg first because it will blow your mind!! Like really and it will just turn you off. What I do is watch training materials first, would recommend kevin wallace encor training so you would have an idea or understanding first so that when you are reading the ocg it is easier to understand and imagine.

Alot of the INE courses for CCNP Enterprise was just collected from previous CCIE R&S. Only a bit of the material was new and designed specifically for the CCNP Enterprise

I totally agree with you regarding INE. It seems like a collection of old vídeos not focus on Encore exam. I'm not sure but CBT nuggets did better vídeos to Encore exam. Congrats for your achivement!!

Congrats on the pass, I have mine in 3.5 weeks because of the discount I decided to give it a shot. Passed CCNA back in Feb, will follow OCG and Nuggets and see how far we go.

I took the exam today and boy was I disappointed. I feel that no one is really honest about how the exam is. My score was 810 and I failed and I kinda wasted 400 Euros on an exam that I would never pass no matter what imo. The OCG, CBT Nuggets and Linkd +4 months of studying almost 6 hours a day, were not enough for the amount of off topic questions that I had no idea what they are talking about (Like 4 XML questions and here I was trying to learn python and Jason). Did I learn something the last 4 months, YES! Will I ever take the exam again, never, because it doesn't make sense financially and I am very disappointed from that. I will keep on learning new stuff from Cisco related tecnologies but I guess I kinda gave up on certification and it would be a waste of time trying to relearn the same stuff again, while I can improve myself in different fields that would directly correlate to my work and real jobs and not memorizing the sevirity codes, which I did btw, but I find it a useless and a waste of time. Rant over :D

I passed this on 2nd attempt (£800 to pass one exam!). I found it tough and pretty much hated it... Glad its done now. Good luck with your CCIE journey.
